Flexible busbars are mostly used in the manufacturing industries, like e.g. in the energy and more recently in automotive industry to transport current between components, where high flexibility is required. Industrials may also use aluminium flexible busbars because of the weight and costs reduction.Flexible busbars offer a number of advantages over traditional busbars 

Flexibility : Flexible busbars can be bent and drilled, making them easier to install in tight spaces or for applications requiring changes of direction.
Weight reduction : Flexible busbars are lighter than traditional busbars, making them easier to handle and install.
Vibration reduction : Flexible busbars are more resistant to vibration than traditional busbars, making them more suitable for applications where vibration is present.
